The Republic of Manu, which existed until 2023-2024, announced its dissolution on September 25, 2024, on the official Manu Discord server due to various reasons and unstable governance. Following this, a decision was made to find a new territory and establish a new state. The Republic of Bosqunia, founded on September 26, 2024, prepared a provisional flag during its initial stages.
The day after the dissolution of the Republic of Manu, the establishment of the Republic of Bosqunia was officially announced. A forested area was chosen as the new territory. Its only provinces at that time were: Tavşançayırı, İpekBahçe, Ağaçlıköy, Uzunyol, Şile Islands (Şile, Istanbul), Kur Dasi Island (Azerbaijan), and Burke Island (Antartica).

In the following days, it was decided to design a new national flag because the provisional flag did not fully represent the people of Bosqunia. Omer Faruk C. designed the current flag, which features blue at the top, white in the middle, and orange at the bottom, with a pine tree emblem in the center. This flag was officially adopted as the National Flag on October 10, 2024. In commemoration of this day, Flag Day is celebrated every year in Bosqunia on October 10th.
Later, because the region where Bosqunia was located in its early years could not be fully governed by them, they began searching for a different territory. Two adjacent grassy areas were declared the new region of Bosqunia, and the northern part was named Tavşançayırı and the southern part Günyaka, thus becoming the first provinces of Bosqunia. The previous provinces were removed from Bosqunia's administrative administration.

In subsequent years, the Ördekkent and Kırmaktın districts were incorporated into the administrative regions of the Republic of Bosqunia. While the location of the Kırmaktın district is shared, the location of the Ördekkent district is kept secret. This is because Ördekkent is located in the backyard of Omer Faruk C.'s house, and its location is kept secret to prevent leaks.
On October 30, 2025, the Republic of Bosqunia simplified its administrative system. The provincial system was abolished, and provinces were created, each with its own municipality. This change aimed to create a more efficient and practical administrative system, better suited to the smaller size of the country.
