Early History

The first micronation established was known as the Jenya Empire, founded by Omer Faruk C. on 14 August 2023. Its flag was originally drawn in Omer Faruk’s personal sketchbook. Although it had ambitions of statehood, the Jenya Empire lacked structure and public presence, including no social media representation, which prevented it from being recognized seriously.

Establishment of the Republic of Manu

Following the dissolution of the Jenya Empire, Omer Faruk C. established a new micronation called the Republic of Manu in 2023. Despite being declared a republic, it operated more like a monarchy, with centralized decision-making and authority concentrated in a single figure.

LGBTQ Controversy

Omer Faruk C.’s public stance against LGBTQ+ rights caused controversy and tension within the broader micronation community. He has expressed views that portray LGBTQ+ identities as harmful to societal morality and family health. Although he continues to hold these beliefs, he reportedly does not impose them directly on individuals.

Collapse of the Republic of Manu

The collapse of the Republic of Manu was due to several key issues:
-State Borders: The territorial claims were excessively large for a micronation, making governance impractical.

-State Name: The name "Manu" is a registered brand and carries multiple unrelated meanings, leading to confusion.

-Governance: Ineffective administration and lack of organized governance hindered the nation’s development and stability.

Dissolution of Provinces

The Republic of Bosqunia later dissolved seven provinces due to territorial claims extending beyond its realistic administrative boundaries.

Former Provinces of Bosqunia

TavÅŸançayırı, İpekBahçe, AÄŸaçlıköy, Uzunyol, Åžile Islands, Kur Dasi Island, Burke Island.

New Regions

Two vacant lots near the primary school Omer Faruk C. attended as a child were annexed as new territory to the Republic of Bosqunia. The capital, TavÅŸançayırı, was moved, and the northern part of the new territory was named after him. Günyaka, in the south, and Ömer Faruk C.'s backyard were annexed as provinces of the Republic of Bosqunia.
